My Story

Tracy Baack was that elementary school kid determined to be #1 in the Accelerated Reader standings every year (one part love of reading + one part competitive spirit). She spent so much time absorbed in imaginary worlds with fictional characters, she started dreaming up her own storylines - always with a heaping dose of love and happily ever afters.

Decades later, she's finally putting pen to paper (and fingers to keyboard) to make swoony, closed-door love stories feel real for other readers. She loves to write relatable characters who have depth and meaningful growth. Also, an abundance of hand-over-heart swoon-worthy moments!

When she's not writing, reading, or daydreaming new stories, Tracy loves baking, long walks in the sunshine, drinking coffee with friends, listening to podcasts, and playing board games with her family. She lives in Kansas with her husband and four children.
